Dr. Giovanni Ciuffo is proud to announce he has accepted a new position as the Director of the Minimally Invasive and Bloodless Heart Surgery Program at Mercy Medical Center.
“Mercy Bloodless Surgery offers an advanced way of providing medical care that uses state-of-the-art techniques to minimize your blood loss before, during and after surgery, including bloodless, minimally invasive heart surgery. Blood conservation and bloodless medicine methods can also be used to manage anemia related to medical conditions.”
As the new Director of the Bloodless and Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery program, Dr. Ciuffo looks forward to expanding his own experience, as well as the capabilities of this hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery Procedures
Dr. Ciuffo will still provide the same extensive minimally invasive heart surgery procedures, including bloodless surgery for Jehovah’s Witnesses, Minimally Invasive Aortic Valve Repair, Minimally Invasive Hybrid Valve Surgery, and more heart surgery procedures.
